HOW TO REGISTER YOUR BUSINESS NAME WITH THE CORPORATE AFFAIRS COMMISSION (CAC) IN 21 DAYS OR LESS, WITHOUT A LAWYER AND WITH LESS THAN N10, 000 (PART 2)

1
In or last article, we talked about the preambles of registering your business with CAC. I also try to tell you that when you ask for a name reservation, it takes about 2 weeks before the results are returned. It is sometimes as fast as one week or 10 days but it generally takes 2 weeks. Now imagine if your chosen business name is not6available, you have to go through that 2 week process again. If the new one is not available as well, you have to go over the process... again... and... Again. That is why it takes people a long time to sort out.

How To Prevent That From Happening To You?
What you need to do is to choose a name no one else would have chosen. This is where creativity and ingenuity have to play a part. If you choose just any name, I can assure you someone has registered it.
Don't even think about registering names like these...
Ø justice Enterprises
Ø Prosperity Ventures
Ø Good Hope Enterprises
Ø Adamu Hassan Ventures
Ø Wealth Resources Consulting

If you choose names like these, then, there is a high probability that they have already been taken by someone else and as an entrepreneur, you don’t have time to waste experimenting on new names at every 2 week interval.

Here is a perfect example:
Some time ago, a friend of mine wanted to register “Success guide International” and he was so confident it would be available. To his surprise after 2 weeks, it was already taken.

As our first article for 2014, we are going to be talking on a very important topic here in Nigeria. Which is How To Register Your
Business Name With The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) In 21 Days Or Less, Without A Lawyer And With Less Than N10,000. Are you ready for the ride?

Lets go……..

One of the most important thing small business owners neglect in Nigeria today is proper registration. This is because a good number of them think it’s not important and some others who think it’s important assume it will be a very difficult task.

Why should you register your business with CAC?
Registering your business with CAC is of a very huge importance. Some of which are:

  • For one, when it comes to doing serious business, many agencies will never take you serious if your company is not registered.

  • Secondly, you might have to discovered that people and that includes you and I, feel more comfortable paying for services and products into a corporate account with the name of an organization than paying into Individual account.

Why you should never wait for everything to be right before you start a business

How Do I START?
A wonderful Sunday to you dear reader, hope you are getting on well with life and business? Actually it wasn’t my intention to write on this blog today. I was waiting to continue the series I started yesterday on How to make N30,000 to N50,000 and above producing and selling designer car and indoor air freshener from the comfort of your home starting with as low as N10,000. But something came up when I was going through the emails sent to me by my subscribers this morning, I come across this particular email on which one of my subscriber was complaining on how thing are not working out on a business venture he was going to set up. This prompts me to write this article in answer to anyone who is facing similar problems. Now read on…

A couple of months ago, I read a statement from on of my top marketing mentor Dan S. Kennedy In one of his newsletters of which I am a subscriber. I happen to be an ardent follower of Dan’s teachings on marketing matters and when I tell you he’s the best in the world of direct marketing, I guess you won’t doubt that.

The statement reads….”you don’t have to get perfect to get started……you have to get started you’ll be perfect!
